If you are reading this then you are most likely already aware of the huge increase in value and desirability of these rare little gems. hence if you are looking for a true investment and/or a fun usable little classic then look no further as the A40 Sports is the car for you.

This particular car is in very good solid overall condition having benefited from many new parts over the years. She was sold to me as a `restored` vehicle. albeit an older one at that.

Although still very solid I would say she is now ready for another light restoration and recommisioning.

No welding will be required but a new paint job. some chroming and no doubt some tinkering/servicing here and there.

She starts fine with Easy-Start but needs fuel pump sorting.

She also has a tonneau cover and a soft-top (needs attaching).

She has the uprated 1500 engine installed but still has the original in the boot if you decide to keep her original.

Still has original column change.

 I`m not going to go into too much detail on this one as I know how desirable they are and I am more than happy to answer any genuine questions from any prospective buyer so feel free to ask whatever you need to know.

As far as values go I`m sure you have a fair idea already but I have seen these advertised for as much as £20. 00+. !!!

I`ve had a quick look on eBay and various other sites and it has confirmed what I already suspected that there are hardly any of these now available for sale.

The above in mind I think this delightful example makes for a wonderful opportunity for both an investment `AND` for your own enjoyment. !!!

Obviously due to storage of my trade vehicles and the very nature of older vehicles. I would suggest a good service/overhaul of all fluids. brakes. rubbers. clutches. pipes. engines and electrics would be advisable and most likely needed in some cases.
