Rare 1955 Pontiac Star Chief Convertible. imported into Aust. by Gorgeous George an American wrestler 30+ years ago. Only one known in Aussie. converted to RHD & completely restored by Clive Toyer a retired panelbeater. I purchased it from him about 20 years ago when it had just done 750 miles (he reset speedo to 0 when he finished resto) I have done about 27. 00 miles since. It has had very little use since I retired except for car shows etc. It won a top 10 Trophy at the Kurri Kurri Nostalgia Festival (500 cars ! ) and one week later won Best GM at Crazy About Chrome at Cessnock as well as a Rare Spares trophy. All my HEAP of trophies will go with car on sale. It is an all matching #'S car. even has a generator & drum brakes all of which have been restored or replaced along with its 4 speed Hydra -Matic gearbox (rebuilt about 2 years ago). Has new carpets (recent) . lectric windscreen wipers. I have vacuum ones still . 4 Electric windows. Electric/Hyd roof rams & motor new. lighted hood ornament. spotlight rear view mirror. Excellent WWW tyres. Continental Kit. Stainless exaust. recent work done to front end (tie rod ends. way bar rubbers. King Pins). New tailshaft 10 years ago. A vast quantity of Service books etc & memorabilia. Spare parts etc.

Has featured in Video promotions inc. Go to Utube & "Kara Grainger" then type in "Bring Me Back" . Also "Sultry Sally" music video. Just recently was used in a TV Movie for Channel 9 about Alan Bond. not released yet. Everyone will want you to use it for weddings !!
