          * 1983 MAZDA Rx7 GSL Sports Coupe *

Before you and up for bid is my 1983 Mazda Rx7 sports coupe.   The particulars on the Rx7 are as follows:

*  One adult. lady owner. nbsp;purchased new from Roger Mauro Mazda in Denver Colorado. in June of 1983.   Driven during the spring. summer & autumn. for three years.   No winters.  

*  Garaged in 1986. nbsp;this is where it remained until August of 2012. when upon the passing of its owner. it was bequeathed to her daughter.

*  At the time it was garaged in 1986. it had just turned 20K miles.  

*  CARFAX (in hand) certified mileage. ownership and NO ACCIDENT history. (see picture)

*  No winters and therefore. no exposure to salt or winter corrosives.  

*  Guaranteed to be ZERO RUST!

*  The 12A engine was completely and professionally rebuilt last year at a cost exceeding $2500. 00.

New: Apex seals. apex seal springs. corner seals. corner seal springs. side seals. corner seal plug. side seal springs. inner & outer oil seals. inner & outer O-ring seals. oil seal spring. front inner & outer. oil seal spring. rear inner & outer. oil seal front cover. oil seal rear stationary gear. complete gasket O-ring kit.

*  Rebuilding of the stock 4 bbl carb

*  The engine compartment is immaculate.

*  All new belts. hoses. filters. nbsp;spark plugs. spark plug wires. fresh fluids & a battery.  

*  Brake service. new pads. rotors turned. system flush.

*  Excellent clutch. the 5 speed transmission shifts smoothly through all forward gears & reverse.

*  Original Mazda factory exhaust.

*  No modifications ever.

*  All original paint with slight fading.

*  AC equipped car. it was not retrofitted to 134 and therefore. it is not blowing cold.

*  The engine seals have been properly seated through the break in period.   There are NO annoying drips or leaks.  

*  Presently just 32. 64 actual miles!

*  Non-smoker. no pets. garaged & pampered.

*  GSL model (top of the line) for 1983. the only option not ordered the car was the leather interior.

*  Power windows. power mirrors. cruise control. rear wiper

*  All safety features (lights. horn. wipers) and electrics are fully operational sans left rear side marker.

*  All gauges and displays are functional.

*  Factory removeable steel moonroof. also included is the rare Saratoga removeable glass roof.

*  Ordered with the first year Mazda targa appearance pkg. and Mazda rear louvres.

*  Period correct AM/FM/Cassette w/equalizer and power antenna

At 30 years of age. the Rx7 is in very good overall condition.   Being garaged for 26 years. it was subjected to some minor bumps and scratches while stored.  

*  My family co-owned a Mazda franchise. I have owned many Mazda's.   When these cars first appeared on U. S. shores. we said that they provided the most fun you could have with 100 bhp.   Handling wise. they love to be thrown into corners and are happy to wag their tails upon exiting.

These cars are and were significant in their day.   While always having a loyal following. they will prove to be the '80's counterpart to the '70's. and Datsun's 240Z cars.   These cars rested the IMSA crown away from Porsche over four consecutive years.

High revving. ultra reliable. easy to maintain and extremely fun to drive. nbsp;nothing delivers power like a rotary.

This Rx7 is an ideal platform for an ITS. vintage. drift. or V8 swap drag car.

Being as solid. rust free and tight as it is. a full restoration cannot be discounted from its potential. or just drive it & enjoy it the way it is.  

It runs great. stops assuredly. looks good and goes precisely where you point it. there is no play in the steering which occurs with recirculating ball steering over time.

The interior is in good shape.   There is a slight center dash crack.   The door panels are nice. as is the carpet.   The seating upholstery is good and there are no tears in the vinyl.   The rear cargo area carpet is not faded.   Both a-pillar plastic shrouds and the interior door escutcheons are showing age cracks.

The headliner is perfect as is all of the interior panel pieces throughout the hatch/rear cargo area.

The storage bin doors behind the seats are not broken.

All glass is original. there are no cracks or chips.

All gaskets are soft and pliable.

Original spare. nbsp;jack and tire tool. the spare has never been on the ground.

Original books. operational pamphlets and keys.

Newer tires mounted on the factory Mazda alloys. there is no curb rash. however. some of the clear coat applied back then has blistered.   Two of the center caps are misplaced. I'm trying to locate them. as well as the left rear quarter body molding.

You are bidding to purchase the Rx7. not to be the first to look at it.   Inspections are welcome and will be facillitated to the best of my ability prior to the auction concluding.   Thank you.

Transportation and/or delivery is the sole responsibility of the buyer.   Trailered delivery is possible in the lower 48 states for $1000. 00. (non-negotiable)

I will assist to coordinate with your chosen shipper or can recommend a reputable one to you. if needed.

A $1000. 00 initial payment is due and payable within 24 hours of auction close VIA PayPal.   The balance is then due and payable within 7 days thereafter under condition and arrangement made between myself and the buyer.

The balance is to be paid VIA a legitmate bank to bank wire transfer or cash in person. within 7 days.

Clear Colorado title in my name.   The car and the title will not be released until all funds have been received.

I have set a reasonable reserve for the Rx7.   DO NOT ask me what the reserve is. as I will not disclose it.   Bid what you can afford and are willing to pay for the one owner. rust free. nbsp;1983 Mazda Rx7 GSL with just 32K miles. that you see before you.  

I know what the car is worth and am realistic.   There are a lot of marginal Rx7's out there. this is not one of them.
