1968 Pontiac Firebird for sale
Current customer rating:
1968 Pontiac Firebird. I have owned this car since 2001 and bought it in Miami from the son of the original owner.
Car retains it's original rust free body panels. xcept for the trunk lid that was replaced in 2005 when I repainted the car. Deck lid fits correctly . only pointing it out so you know exactly what is original. All body panels line up and fit correctly. Car is a original 400/ 4 speed 12 bolt car. when I got it the 400 was gone . and replaced with a 1968 Chevy 302 . They told me this took place in the 80's when the 400 blew up(sorry Pontiac guys) I can verify it's a 302. I took the motor down and it has a 1148 crankshaft. 4 inch bore etc. I have pictures some where. I replaced the rods with Billet H beams. Motor has full roller cam . rockers. and a rev kit. Some one spent a lot time porting and polishing the heads. Car runs 11 sec 1/4 mile.
M-21 4 speed transmission. 12 bolt rear with 4. 10 gears and Strange axles. Front Disc brakes
Car was Blue. with a teal interior. Had shag carpet. and blue fur on the package tray. rmrests and inside of the glove box. Total 1970's decor. I repainted the car in 2005/2006 and changed the interior at that time. Autometer Pro Comp Gauges. CD player.
I own a auto repair/ restoration shop and this is one of my personal cars. I say this so you know that all the work was professionally and skillfully done.
This is a fast and fun car. It drives and stops like it should. Pre purchase inspection is encouraged by appointment. I have a lift. No joy rides.
$500. 00 deposit in 24 hours of auction close. full payment in 7 days.
