This is my 1972 Citroen DS20 Special. which I have owned for three years. The car was imported in 1993 by a local friend. who only used the car for a short time and then layed it up in his garage. On purchase. I have sorted out any gremlins and the car now starts and runs very well. It is a good Condition-2 car. and although not concourse attracts plenty of attention at car shows. It also has the added bonus of the correct Citroen towbar and electrics. It is very usable. but as usual there are one or two jobs I have not got round to which would improve the car. The most obvious of these is that the stitching on the rear seat has failed. However. included with the car is a roll of the correct material to re-cover it with. Also. the grey trim on the sills has been removed at some point. and that material will also be included with the purchase. The car currently has an MOT certificate. but has no tax disc (which of course is free anyway). as it is declared SORN at the moment. I am on holiday from the school where I work at the moment. so it would be best to come and take a look at the car yourself if you are a serious buyer.  This is a great first DS. being one of the simplest of the model. It has a normal manual gearchange. and only the suspension and brakes are hydraulic. very easy to maintain.  I am located in Wokingham. Berkshire. easy reach from M3 or M4.
