We reserve the right to sell this car locally. independent of this auction. This is a No Reserve listing for a replica of a 1957 Porsche 356 Speedster. built by award winning JPS Motorsports of Hollywood. CA. who specializes in Porsche reproductions.

Built on a 1973 VW Beetle pan. All photos taken last week.
Classic guards red with saddle and black interior.
Chrome roll bar really makes this 356 stand out.
Car has just below 16. 00 miles. Engine is another feature that separates this car from other replicas.
It is a 2. 0 L type IV from a Porsche 912 E. with twin barrel Weber carbs and external oil cooler. built by Gem VW. Type IV engines are lots heavier than beetle engines. so this car is equipped with a proper Type IV rear engine mount that keeps the torquey engine in place.
Engine pulls to 6000 RPM easily. "Highway Flier" transmission with EMPI quick shift kit. that shortens the shift lever throw. Car is also equipped with Air conditioning that currently blows cool not cold. Brakes are all wheel discs. Tonneau cover and top with side curtains.
Nardi steering wheel. Great sounding Pioneer CD stereo with 6 x 9 speakers in the back and 5. /4 rounds in the front.
6-disc changer in the trunk does not currently power up.
Will update the listing if I get it fixed. Wipers. horn and all lights work. Trunk lid. both doors and engine cover all close tightly and fit nicely. Paint is nice with some stone chips on the nose and a couple of scratches around the engine cover. Running a bit rich right now.
Put an Air/Fuel mixture meter on her. then change the carb jets to lean her out to where she needs to be. Pickup or shipping is buyers responsibility. but I can assist with getting on the trailer.
This car doesn't rattle down the road. tracks straight and gets thumbs up where ever we drive her.
