Second owner - 1981 Zagoto - Abarth tribute. 89 K original miles. Car has history. was owned by the Civil War author Shelby Foote (I have WOs with his signature). Original leather seats restitched) that are in excellent condition. I have owned the car since 1986. Rust free Southern (Memphis) car. Has never been in the snow and has been garaged/babied/maintained it's whole life. Whats new:New top New paint (an 8 out of 10. some minor paint flaws and a little wavy. (I hand sanded every inch very good but not concourse)New larger FIs (a definte upgrade in HP)New struts. CAM belt. clutch about 13 k ago Professionally blasted/powder coated wheels with Abath caps Brand new tires (60 series)Abarth hood mylar and matching pinstripe (Italian flag colors)New door seals. all other seals are like new New nylon shifter joints New outer CV joints and boots Tune up New fuel pump. fuel regulator and filters. Entire system flushed New windshield washer tank/motor (These are impossible to find)Upgraded grill/headlight bezels to an 1982 with red HF trim added New brake pads within the last 10 k and a M brake cylinder New therm switch at radiator New original oil cap Mits Diamond series cassette (paid over $200 for excellent unit) with Blaukpunt speakers in rear Dash is like new crack free. and has specifc made for Zagoto dash cap New Exhaust from CAT to ANSA style resonator (sounds great)New battery Oil changed and car reviewed by Eco-TECH St. Louis MONew car mats front and rear
What it needs:AC is complete but needs new O-ring seals Flex brake lines at wheels need replacing. not leaking but affects braking (hose contracting). Suggest SST braided lines to improve stopping' car stops but could use the upgrade. This car starts "every" time with no coaxing required

I'm not looking to get rich. I have over 15 k in this car and I know I'm not going to get close to what I have in it. Her name is Gina and she's been through 2 kids. an ex wife. a current wife. 3 houses and a move or two. If I don't sell her no biggy. just have another 82 California Zagoto that needs my attention and a Triumph Staaaaaaag. Jim PS don't ask what will I take. bid and find out.
