Welcome to my auction of my 1985 Scorehill Magic Rat Rod style Kit Car.

I have had this car for nearly 10 years and have had a ridiculous amount of fun in it. But it has come time to sell it.

I have two other toys. and now two children . o a two seater Rat Rod is not the most practical thing.

As far as I am aware after speaking to an anorak years ago.

The Score hill Magic was originally built to use a MG BGT as a donor car but MG somehow got them to stop. They then moved on to using Ford's for donor cars.

Underneath is all Cortina with a box section chaise. It has a 1. 8 Pinto engine with a 5 speed box. I have fitted a poly bush set for most of the major ones.

It has adjustable shock/springs all round and I have set it so it is pretty hard. The comfortable seats in the car do help from the hard ride other wise I think it would shatter your spine. Just kidding you can set the ride for how you like. I have it so it handles GREAT.

The side exit pipe is stainless and make a fantastic rasp when you push the loud pedal.

This might not have a V 8 in but trust me when I say it will put a smile on you "Chevy Chase" every time you drive it.

I did see one once with a 3. 5 Rover V 8 in but this is nice and economical to blast round in. I have another car with a V 8 and well 12 to the gallon is fun to begin with.

I am 6 ft 4 and quite a big lad and I can drive this no probs. The driver's seat is on runners so can be adjusted.

NO Wipers. NO Doors. NO Roof. NO Windscreen. NO Cup Holders NO Back Seats.

Its easier to list what's not there.

This is a Rat Rod style car and does not come with a shiny paint job. It is satin black and the finish is very good but the are signs of wear. But that is the point.

You will need to go out and purchase goggles or a skid lid for this and you will always have a bad hair day driving this.

This is awesome fun every day of the week and twice on Sundays but it is not for the faint hearted.

Everywhere you go with this it will turn heads an draw a crowd so if you don't want to stand out in a crowd this is not for you.

It is fitted with a radio and CD player not that you can hear it at 70 mph but it is there.

This car weighs next to nothing and is very low to the ground. It goes round corners like it's on rails. It is not the fastest thing by any means. It has a standard carb with a K&N. It could do with a twin choke but I have never felt the need. When a fly hits you in the face at 70 its about the same at 30.

If you have any questions either message me or call me on 07702 303847. This is located at my home address and not at the business address so don't just turn up as it won't be there unless its sunny then it might be. Best thing to do if you wana come and have a look is call me and I can arrange a viewing for you. I am available all this week.

I require cash on collection to the winning bidder please.

I know from experience there are a few nutter's on here that want to pay in washers or chickens but I want CASH. Sorry to be picky.

I am open to sensible offers so message me.

I basically want someone to have a much fun with this as I have over the years. If you want an affordable toy that's easy to maintain and run and still fit in with the hot rod & rat rod scene this is what you want.

GOOD LUCK BIDDING

I know this is a bit different from all my other items I just thought it would be easier to sell it on my business account.
