1967 Mustang Coupe, 351W for sale
Current customer rating:
Hi everyone.
Sad (and a bit of a reluctant) sale here – my 67 Mustang coupe. I have had the car the past two years – first owner in the UK (imported from Arizona). I have been toying with selling her for the past 2 months – however. due to work commitments and living arrangements and family commitments. I do not get the time to appreciate driving. let alone simply admiring the sound of the cammed 351 W!
So. the car….
I am not selling this as a show car. it is a track/drag car. or ready to use as a daily driver. The paintwork isn't perfect. and the offside (right) wing still has the hole for the antenna. The wing also has a crease above the arch – I plan to replace the entire wing if it doesn't sell. but it is not a big issue.
I have used the car on the motorway. country roads. and have been stuck in traffic. To meet al the needs. I wanted to keep the mechanics as simple as possible – down to installing a manual switch for the fan. incase I'm I ended up in an unexpected traffic jam again!
As I mentioned. it is not a show car. and I never intended it to be. The car is rust free. and I have (recently. within past 3 months – that's how little I actually get to see the car!) taken out the carpet. again to keep things simple. The floor is painted black. and I have the rear seats removed. although these can be put back in within minutes.
The front has two bucket seats. with a 5 point harness in the drivers seat. The car is rust free. and past its last MOT last August fine (As a 1967 it is tax exempt). The loom was also tidied a few months ago by Western Autos in Hereford.
The list of parts/spec is as follows:
351 W block
Holley Carb (4 barrel)
Racing cams
Roller rockers
Guide plates
C 4 Box (Semi-Auto) with B&M racing shifter
Mallory electronic ignition
Holley electronic fuel pump. with a recent fuel tank
Edelbrock heads
3” X pipe exhaust
Big Aluminum radiator
New cooling fan
New lower control arms (only one fitted at the moment. as this was an advisory on the previous mot)
Recent suspension dampers
Autometer phantom gauges – Tachometer (rev counter). Speedo (mechanical) Water Temp (Mechanical) Oil pressure (Mechanical)
Battery relocation to boot with cut off switch
Strut braces
Centerline wheels all with excellent tires
This is an amazing car. and you will find it near impossible to drive without a huge smile on your face! I haven't taken it to the drag strip yet. but would be interested in finding out its time.
It is likely I have missed something out! I live away from where I store the car. so wont be able to get more pictures (or videos) as these aren't the best until Wednesday/Thursday next week. Viewings are more than welcome (from next Thursday). although I would rather not start a ‘Mustang driving experience' for time wasters!
The car is ready to drive away. so as long as you have insurance. you will not need to trailer away!
If you have any questions. please feel free to contact me via ebay or on 0.
