LANDROVER SERIES 0 NE(1) "86" 1957
MOT AND TAX EXEMPT
Has be stored for over 30 years on a farm. Rare find one owner no previous owners zero shown on log book with new 3 letter and 3 number registration number registered by DVLA. V 5 present. Original chassis number still completely on vehicle. Think it should all be matching numbers but i dont know how to check.
Body work seems very good Chassis is good but will need some repair on rear cross member and one out rigger . Bulkhead needs some fabrication/ repair on bottom o/s hinge all other door hinges are ok. Windscreen mount will need some work. I have a roof for the cab series one.
I removed the spark plugs and put some oil and petrol mix in the chambers could not believe it . The engine turned over from the key and button . I havent tried to start it yet but its looking hopeful. Gearbox is free. As you can see this will need complete restoration to make into a show winner but i think the old girl deserves it . ONLY ONE OWNER!!!! GREAT WINTER PROJECT.
I believe it is all original from new a nice rare find. It even has the original number plate is was issused with in 1956-7. Ok. happy bidding please no messes spoils it for everyone. Happy for anyone to come and check it out in fact i would really welcome it as i dont have much knowledge on these It would be great to find out more about it.
