Imported last year from Florida and garaged ever since the car is mot'd and now registered as a Uk car with number plate. Bought for my own use but unfortunately a motorbike accident has resulted in a back injury which means driving comfortable cars is now the option details of the build and car are as follows
The car was built in the late 1960 s by James Donald Fisk. former host of "The Freddie Friehofer Show" using a lot of different vehicles. The frame is a custom made boxed frame that supports a 1957 Ford Thunderbird 312 engine with 3 two barrel carburetors. a 1957 Mercury 2 speed automatic transmission. and a 1951 Ford rear end with inverted leaf springs front and rear. The body is a custom fiberglass one piece unit with an original 1917 windshield with original "oil lights" that have been converted to electic. The front end is a 1930 Ford with 1964 Econoline spindles and brakes. and the radiator is out of a 1958 Chevy! Inside you get a simple dash. floor shifter. and steering is provided by a 1962 Corvair steering column. The taillights are also from the 1962 Corvair.
As the car stands now it has had indicators and harness seat belts fitted plus new head gasket and one of the carbs currently has a small leak. My aim was to get the car ready keeping it original but due to my accident its not worth me doing so the car might require new carbs or at least repair to one of them. Other than that its a car that will grab attention where ever it will go plus is original from its build in 60's apart from a few items which I have mentioned.
Might part exchange for something different and 'back sympathetic'
