This beautiful 79 Karmann FI Cabrio Beetle 1600 for sale bought over 20 years ago by my dad has been in daily use this summer and running nicely. It has been properly repaired and maintained over the years but never been the subject of a restoration project.

After being imported from California it spent much time in Marbellas nice climate where my Dad was always asked if it was for sale. It is now the right time to sell this classic beauty as my Dad is getting old and sometimes forgets where he left it!

The Engine - Recent conversion from fuel injection to twin carbs- proffessionally done. Very clean . new battery.

The Wheels - chrome 356 wheels which still polish up great.

Rubbers - Many new ones but needs a few more replacing on doors. etc.

Upholstery/ Carpet - Seat covers. upholstery and carpets all in very good condition.

Roof - Blue mercedes cloth in good condition. Good steel frame. 1 bow recently repaired but still original padding . White headlining  good condition.

Rust - Very solid chassis and bodywork all round. Some rust in bottom of doors not visible from outside. Body panels - All good.

Paintwork - Good  for year.  

Faults - Both heat exchangers are shot. Heating has been sealed off . The new rear parcel shelf has not been fitted yet.  Also a new auto electrical component and some rubbers.

Notes- Hinge covers will be refitted.
