This is a really beautiful Roadster! Nice Low windshield car. Please read through the details. The car is an "As is sale". It is well sorted out and needs a few more details sorted out. they are listed below. This is great car ready to drive.
This car is completely rust free!!! The car has documentation of most of the restoration work.
No major modifications to the suspension or brakes. All original parts serviced and replaced. A 1600 aluminum radiator was installed. The original working telescopic antenna is there (antenna key is missing). All the badge-ing is the original 1600 trim. Rockers are perfect. Weather stripping was removed and replaced with new.
It was and is 100% original car with the exception of new drive-train. The U 20. 5 speed was installed not needing to cut the floor as this transmission tunnel had sufficiently large enough hole. Key locks all work nicely. Doors close nicely as does the trunk and hood. New convertible top Custom black seats with red stitching Custom tonneau cover New deep weave carpet New custom dash cover Carpeted trunk New weather stripping around doors New weather stripping around glass New felts New top hardware Polished as much of the trim as possible Replaced trim where polishing was not effective New 1600 aluminum radiator Upgraded U 20 5 speed Upgraded U 20 engine Dash/gauges are "Patina" and unmolested Relocated rear view mirrorrims 15 x 7. 195/60 tires
Things needing attention.
Tachometer needs adjustment or rebuild Windshield has crack at the top Fan shroud missing b/c of the U 20 swap- runs fin without Left rear brake light lamp rubber is worn out. does not have a water tight seal-- so a new lamp rubber or new pigtail would solve that Could use a new antenna key
