I have not seen a better 62 starfire period. I bought the car after the restoration and have the photo documentation of the rebuild. I do not know if it has hardened valves and seats but I run the highest octane with the lead substitute additive and it runs fine. It was restored with all the original parts. There appears to be no filler or bondo and the paint is 9/10. There are minor signs of wear as the paint is 9 or 10 years old. It has always been in a garage under a cover. It has been professionally maintained. Before I disposed of my collection (had 46 cars at one point and this is the only one I kept) I had a mechanic on staff to maintain the vehicles. The only modification we made was an off/on switch for the air conditioning under the dash because we couldn't find an original a/c switch and I didn't want to change the look of the dash. So the a/c is either off or on but since I never put the top up when I take it out. it makes little difference. The fuzzy dice are included in the price. The Brooklyn Dodger hat is not.
