RAILTON Straight Eight 8

Welcome .   I am offering you the rare chance to get your hands onto a genuine RAILTON Straight 8 .  This is the real thing. the real McCoy .  A proper barn-find. found in a barn where it spent many. many years gathering dust and waiting to get noticed.  I bought it from another enthusiast who had bought the car from the original owner's family.  He was. like I am. a rare-car enthusiast but his collection was bursting at the seams already and the car had to move on.  While I absolutely love the Railton. my interest in it was purely to make sure I could re-home it. not as a project for myself.  This is where you come in !  If you are reading this. you already know a good deal about the manufacturer and the model. probably more than I do. so all I can do is suggest you do your utmost to obtain this vehicle as quickly as you can.  I have never seen a Straight Eight on eBay before and I am not being at all greedy in selling it on.  I will sell to the first £12. 00 that puts their money where their mouth is.  Private buyer or Trade. you know there is a pile of money still in this deal. even after you've paid out for a full restoration. so I urge you not to hesitate and lose the opportunity.  These cars were the super-cars of their day. with hundred mile per hour performance and vivid acceleration to get there.  This example starts on the button.  The charging system works fine (now that I have put a brand-new battery on the vehicle).  The brakes all work properly. including the parking brake.  The engine is beautifully sweet and the (wet-plate) clutch didn't slip at all over the few road-test miles I have driven the car.  The trafficators both worked. but the driver's side one stopped this morning.
