Due to a very unfortunate personal set back by the buyer which dictated cancellation of the previous sale this 1959 Plymouth Sport Fury is going back up on e Bay. This is a beautiful Plymouth Sport Fury with all of it's original equipment. All component numbers match. The motor is the correct motor with matching numbers (ML 1 18239). It is an older extensive restoration done in the late 1980's. Since I have had it I have had a Dave Crooks perfect original steering wheel recast ($1400) and have had a new dash pad and steering horn center pad installed with new foam backing ($1100). The clear plastic portion of the original steering wheel always cracks and discolors over the years and the foam padding behind the dash pad and horn ring pad disintegrates in time. The car runs and drives well. The interior is excellent. The mileage shows 15. 00 but I suspect that the odometer may have turned over. The paint is in very good condition with NO rust showing anywhere. The 361 Golden Commando V-8 was the largest engine offered for the Sport Fury that year. The 395 decal on the air cleaner denotes the torque rating. It has a Torqueflite 3 speed automatic transmission. Also included is a new custom fit California Car Cover that is currently on the car.
