I bought this vehicle in the Czech Republic in 2010 from a Dutch gentleman living there (original bill of sale available). The frame of the vehicle was being used at that time as an indoor ornament. The rest of the vehicle was stored in crates. It was my project over winter to renovate the Velorex back to its original condition. The frame has been sandblasted. painted with 3 coats of antirust paint. new wooden floor installed. brand new seat and cover and roof fitted (one of the last ones made by the original factory seamstress). This vehicle has been restored as sensitively as possible (numerous photographs taken during restoration and available to anybody on request). using original spare parts where available (vehicle parts are available from the Czech Republic from Velorex enthusiasts' websites).

Due to change of circumstances I moved back to England and had the vehicle dry stored in the Czech Republic until autumn 2014 when I had it transported to the UK. informing the HMRC for the Notification of Vehicle Arrivals. who have issued the NOVA number. When I purchased the Velorex. the original documentation was not available. I explained to both the HMRC and DVLA that there is no original documentation for this vehicle. and they are prepared to register it in this country (V355 form) after it has had an MOT etc. The original manufacturing plate is attached to the frame (see photos). Since its arrival back in the UK. I had the engine running. but there is an issue with the dynostarter. I had it rewound by Francis & Robson Rewinds Ltd of London. Unfortunately. there is still some electrical problem resulting in it not charging properly.  

I would like to make it clear that this vehicle is not in concours conditions and needs work on it. At the moment it is not running.  I am available during the auction period.
