Land Rover series 2 a year manufactured 1970 first registered in uk 1979 so would have been ex military. Moted until 14 th July 2017 with no advisories. this is a 46 year old Landy which has been rebuilt at some point in it life and had the head light put in the centre panel which I prefer . been inspected by DVLA at some point and has special notes on v 5 c which read Rebuilt /assembled from parts some or all of which were not new. it's an historic vehicle and is road tax exempt . Classic car insurance which is very cheap.

a diesel 19 j turbo engine out of a early 90" Landy that is good and strong and does not smok. ulkhead is very good but has been patched and repaired in the past. chassis appears to have a full rear half chassis fitted in the past . see pictures . some patches on the pto/ gearbox cross member and outriggers. chassis is strong passed mot but welding is expected on a old landy . tidy looker for its years see pictures. previous owner spent £770 in last two years fitting a military rebiult gear box which works well and other repairers receipts to show work done. good parts fitted with good turbo engine and gearbox. 3. 45 diffs . Michelin Xzl tyres . good chrome on steering swivels. new modern 3. 5 kw heater. exmoor trim elephant hide copy seats outer seats. new light lenses . working side steps . good door bottoms . newish props back and front . s/s back exhaust box . s/s break flexy hoses . halogen headlights .

Bad bits chassis and bulkhead patches over the year in various places . ut it's still very serviceable . body has a few small dents over the years but no major big bents see pictures.
To summarise . this is an old rebuilt Land Rover . suitable for an enthusiast who knows what to expect. It's not a new motor with luxury but the heater does work very well . it's a truly basic motoring so do not bid if you are looking for power steering and comfort!!!! Viewing recommend evenings or weekend . This land with its engine and rangy diffs will keep up with modern day traffic These motors are becoming very collectable and would idea running restoration.
