I see the last pending offer was back in January. Is your Checker/Camper still available? Unlike the previous offer, I live real close to you, in Van Nuys, Ca. My first car, back in 1974, was a 1969 Checker. I was in the Army, left it with my brother, and he got it impounded, and lost it. I am presently living on a meek monthly disability check (disabled veteran), while managing an apartment building. I currently own a 1994 Ford F-250 XLT with a camper shell. It has a 7.6L (460cid), automatic transmission. Though it has over 250,000 miles, not too long ago (miles ?), it had a new factory engine installed. The truck was used as a work truck, so there are some small dents, dings, and stains in the interior. But basically, a good and straight truck. My question is: would you be willing to take the truck in trade, with payments to meet what you would expect for your car? If not, I would have to sell the truck, then give to you the cash I would get, plus monthly payments. I would be willing to make the payments, while you keep the car, until all is paid (lay-away). I would really love to be able to buy this car, and would do whatever it takes to obtain it, within my abilities. I wouldn't qualify for a loan, due to bad credit (2 ex-wives, and child support), and the fact I'm on disability. Either way, I would appreciate any comments, good or bad, you might have. Thank you for your time. (818)787-1987, Jack.
