Up for sale is my 1936 Ford Pickup. all steel. it is channeled about 6-8 inches. but not chopped. the bed is from a 1937. slightly longer than a standard 36 but looks the part and gives the truck good proportion. Body work is all solid. a little dented as you would expect. but original with no filler. Interior is basic with a bench seat. lobar shifter and handbrake. full set of Stewart Warner gauges. all working. nice flaked steering wheel. The engine is a 350 SBC with a TH 350 gearbox. exhausts have removable baffles. accel distributor ( electronic) moon leads. etc. intake currently has a triple Rochester set up. this is a recent addition and cost over a £1000! I am happy to swap this over to the 4 barrel again if you wish. I have attached a photo of both set ups. If the money is right I may let both go with the truck. The engine runs lovely. gearbox is smooth. with no overheating issues. I have driven this all over the country with no problems. Fuel tank is a moon tank in the bed. Suspension is transverse leafs front and rear with 40 s ford front end. complete with finned drums. front shocks are new bilstein hotrod shocks. again very expensive. Rear end is ford 8". Steering is via a vega box and for a traditional style rod this really does drive exceptionally! I have recently put 4 new Coker cross ply look radials on the truck. again over £1000. and these have made a massive difference to the ride and handling. All in all a very well put together truck. it has all the right bits and is a pleasure to drive. It is currently MOTed. although exempt I have continued to have it tested for peace of mind. It is correctly registered and I still have copies of the original import papers. The truck is VHRA compliant. although equally at home with any hot rods. I have a bonnet top and removable fenders. however I rarely run these. but they are there.
