1971 van converted to campervan at some point in the past.  We have owned 'ruby' for 9 years. When we bought her we paid £5000.  She has needed a lot of work on her chassis which has been totally replaced/restored apart from one outer sill. and we have replaced the engine with a recon. receipts available for all work.  The interior is pretty stripped out and cosmetically she needs sorting out both inside and out . We've had a quote for about £3000. 00 for this work from a local specialist but let's face it you can spend as much as you want on one of these! She has been stored in a garage for the last 3 years (so no MOT but her engine is turned over a couple of times a month) as our growing family has made her less practical ( 4 kids is a squeeze).  The fuel pipe needs replacing so I'm hoping to get this done.
Pop top with 2 canvas bunk beds with a rock and roll double bed in the main section.  We also have a canvas sling bunk for over the front seats so we have used it with 3 kids!
We have a drive away awning and a bike rack for the rear door which will be included in the sale.
We have decided to sell up so someone else can enjoy her as much as we have. Like most 45 year olds she's a bit rusty and dusty but she's got a heart of gold and a solid chassis! No time wasters please.
