Volvo P1800E Coupe.1970

**  I seem to attract them! I have reduced the price drastically for this 5 day sale. Get in quick. hese cars dont come up very often. 1970 Volvo P1800E Coupe Manual. verdrive. 156000 miles. 12 months MOT. Agreed valuation certificate for £17000. I have owned this car for a year and have spent a fortune on it. Over £8000 this year. t has had extensive body restoration and respray by Mark Hull of Classic  Customs with photographic record. Its had new inner. middle and outer sills both sides. complicated job and one I would only trust with a specialist on P1800's. ew front floors both sides. utriggers. ear valance etc. Other new parts include Varta battery. ide chrome trims. arpets. indscreen and door seals. econditioned overdrive. lectronic ignition. ew s/s bumpers front and rear. x Firestone tyres etc. There is evidence that a previous owner also spent quite a lot of money on the car as the front crossmember/axle is fairly new as are the brake calipers. The headlining and sunroof look to have been replaced in recent years. The car has just been mot'd with two advisories. hese were slight play in both front wheel bearings. hese have now been adjusted. The engine starts well and has good oil pressure and pulls very strongly. he brakes are great. lutch. earbox and overdrive all work as they should. The auxiliary air valve has been blanked off. hese often sieze up and are only really necessary when cold starting. The engine is fine after a couple of minutes warming up. I would suggest getting the fuel injection set up on a rolling road as it occasionally jerks at cruising speed and idles a bit rough. could just be a loose connection but I want to give an honest description. The valuable registration number is included. There is still room for improvement. oth front seats have been repaired in the past. he drivers side kick panel is tatty and could do with replacing and the clock isn't working but these are minor items to be sorted. Ive run out of money to spend on it but if you are prepared to spend some more to take this car up to another level it will be money well spent. r just use it as it is . ts still a stunning looking car and will only appreciate in value. Dont be put off by the mileage. P1800 holds the record for the highest mileage car with the same engine at 3 million miles! And its still going strong. All in all a smart looking P1800 with all the major work taken care of which should last for many years to come. These Volvos are rare items and this one in original Safari Yellow turns heads wherever I take it. Viewing welcome and recommended.
