This auction is for a 1988 Mercedes-Benz 560 SL V 8 Roadster that I am selling on behalf of a friend.
Imported from California last year it is UK registered and MOT'd until January 2017.
I am selling with NO RESERVE. so you decide what it's worth.
Beautiful colour of dark metallic grey with black leather interior. It also has the colour coded hard top included.
Always starts right up and drives very well.
In exceptional condition given that it's 28 years old.

Soft top is virtually brand new Alloy wheels have recently been refurbished to a very high standard Leather interior has no cracks or tears Paintwork shines beautifully Underneath is totally solid and straight with no rust I believe the car has always been garaged. hence totally rust-free
Only bad points I have noticed are: Speedometer is not working (apparently common problem)ABS light sometimes comes on but not always Hardtop glass has a crack in it and some minor marks on it The tailgate doesn't stay up on its own (just requires a new stay spring)
Mileage is showing 68800 but cannot be guaranteed as there is not a full history and as I have stated speedo is not working.
I also have the '560 SL' boot badge as the previous owner preferred the car 'debadged'. This could be fitted easily if required.

I have the UK V 5 C registration document and valid current MOT until Jan 2017.
I can also confirm that all EU taxes were paid when the car was imported.
