ROVER 3. 5 LITRE P 5 B Coupe 1970
Classic Rover P 5 B which has three owners from new ( two from the same family) and a recorded mileage of 62. 96 which is believed correct.
I first came across this car in 1980.
Bodywork is very respectable. The zircon blue paintwork has been repainted in the past. although the silver birch roof is factory finish with a painted coachline.
Good chromework. The front screen scuttle panels are excellent original along with the front and rear screen rubbers which are original and in near perfect condition.
It would appear that D posts have been fitted at some point in the past. and last year the car was treated to new inner and outer sills at great expense.
Lovely quite burble from the V 8 engine with no undue noises and quite top end.
The gearbox has just been fully reconditioned.
Interior is in very good condition and is complete with the original carpets and nice polished woodwork.
The car has recently been re commissioned after being in store for the past 10 years.
Mot tested until April 2014 and also taxed until April 2014.
Original tool kit is present along with handbook pack.
Tow bar is fitted.
Viewing is both welcomed and recommended.
