Lotus Elite 503 Manual 5 speed

MOT until 26. 10. 13

Taxed until end of August.

This is not in concours condition but if you bought a restoration project it would probably cost you double to get it to being a useable condition

I have had the car for nearly 2 1/2 years.

It has a good used gearbox supplied and fitted by PNM in Wallasley about 2 years ago. (Lotus people)

Also had fitted modern spade fuses and electronic ignition.

I have also fitted new headlight pods so they go up and down as they should.

I have used it regularly including through the winter and found it to be reliable.

Previous owner had it resprayed a few years ago.

Power steering

There are a few chips on the paint but would touch up.

Refurbished wheels

There is a rusting door pillar.

It has a good chassis.

The only problem I had was a rusting fuel tank blocking the fuel supply.

Replaced tank fitted with new fuel pump

The radio. rear heated window and clock do not work

These defects are shown in some of the photos.
