1990 BMW E34 535IS in VIC for sale

Produced between mid-1989 and the end of the 1990 model year. There was a total of just 96 E 34 535 is produced for Australia with the 5-speed manual. Standard equipment included limited slip diff. sport suspension. M-Technic aero package. sport seats and M-Technic steering wheel. All Australian cars had the factory badge delete option.
Manufactured in April 1990. this particular car was the 87 th manual 535 is produced for Australia and was first registered as a BMW company car in October 1990. After a short time. it was sold to its first private owner in the ACT and approximately 12 months later was on sold to the owner prior to me. This owner loved and maintained the car for 15 years until selling the car to me in March of this year. At some time during prior ownership the vehicle was fitted with a ‘Powerchip' ECU upgrade (the original chip is still with the vehicle) and 16” E 39 cross spoke rims.
I purchased the vehicle with the intention of keeping it forever. and promptly invested in excess of $3. 00 in addressing all of the issues in the vehicle due to lack of use inspection 2 service and tune. all new fluids. new water pump. belts. radiator. expansion tank. leads. plugs etc. I also fitted a factory cruise control. The factory stereo. speakers and CD stacker (still with the car) were not working correctly when I acquired the car. so I have replaced all the speakers installed an amp and a top of the line Pioneer Bluetooth. i Pod. DAB head unit that matches the dashboard lights. The headlamps have been upgraded to HID Xenon.
Aside from the above. the vehicle is in very original condition and presents exceptionally well for a 26 YO car. Paint is 10/10 from 5 paces away. and about 7/10 up close. interior (leather etc. ) in an 8/10 almost a 9. It drives brilliantly. and of course it comes with a full set of service books to substantiate its exceptionally low mileage.
Having just got the car where I want it. a change in circumstances unfortunately means I now have to sell. The asking price is well below what I have spent on the vehicle. it is an amazing car for money. and an inspection will not disappoint.
