I am posting my 65 Pontiac GTO for sale. This is a REAL GTO. see VIN & data plate for proof. I also have the PHS proving it is a real GTO. This car is rust free. has had the floor panels and trunk floor patched in the past but there is zero rust on this car. The paint is absolutely fantastic. easily the best part of the car. The interior needs to be finished with a headliner. console. and a few gauges aren't hooked up. It is a 65 389 4 bbl motor but not the original motor that came in the car from the factory. It has a 67 muncie 4 spd. car comes with brand new RAM performance clutch which needs to be installed. It has a 3. 31 posi rear from a 69 Chevelle 396. wheels have correct backspacing so the brand new 15 x 8's look fantastic on the rear. 15 x 7's up front. all new tires all around. The motor is strong. mostly stock with an edelbrock intake and holley carb. The car has been sitting for a few months. so may need to be timed/tuned. No leaks from anywhere on the car. and I have a clean driveway to prove it! It originally came with A/C but currently the parts for that are missing. It has a brand new distributor. plugs & wires. battery. and alternator and never has a problem holding a charge or cranking. What it needs are the little things: headliner. side mirror. a few things wired up. speakers. a working radio. console. A/C. etc. but all the big things like motor/body work are perfect. The engine bay needs a paint/detail to match the beauty of the exterior. This is a great car for someone to finish. I just don't have the time. Get this great deal while you can. and have a badass little ride that you can say you completed.
