For sale is my daily Drive Mustang. I've been driving the car a lot recently and it's proved to be a reliable comfortable cruiser. This car gets plenty of attention and it's not for a shy person.
It's a 1967' Notchback. Arguably the most beautiful yet fierce looking of all the 60's Mustangs. The engine is a sweet professionally rebuilt 3. 2 6-Cylinder with New Webber Twin-Choke Carb. MoT'd Till May 30th 2017. Free Road Tax. Huge History File.
Engine:3. 2 Litre Straight Six that has undergone a full Professional Restoration. The Engine runs sweetly and is powerful yet refined through the gears. New Twin Choke webber is easy to adjust to your liking and returns around 22mpg on a run 15mpg around town. Cooled by a 4-Core aluminium radiator on thermo controlled electric fan.
Gearbox:3-Speed Automatic that has also undergone a full Professional Restoration. The gearbox changes flawlessly and smoothly with superb kickdown. 3-Speed with standard floor selector.
Bodywork:The Bodywork of the car is finished in Cherry Red with twin White-Stripes which looks great. Up Close the paintwork is not Perfect. It's clean and looks great but there are a few small areas that require attention. It's the Coupe with wind down rear windowettes that looks fantastic in the Great British Sun!
Wheels & Tyres:The Wheels are genuine WolfRace Slotmags with nearly New Nankang Tyres which stick to the road like glue. The car looks great with the wheels and I believe they were fitted to the Shelby Mustangs of the Era.
Suspension and Brakes:The Rear of the car is slightly lowered on blocks with new springs and bushes. this leads for a great stance. The Car handles superbly and you would be surprised by how well it can take corners. It's a very soft supple ride which lends itself to long strenuous journeys.
Interior:The interior of the car has recently been Re-Trimmed in Blue. The seats are like new and very comfortable. The Carpets are present and in good order with original rubber matting. There are a couple of extra gauges (All standard gauges work well) Including Water Tempetrature and Voltage just for extra piece of mind. There is a battery isolator to keep it safe when you are out and about.
Overall:Overall it's a very usable car. It's capable of reasonable MPG and really turns heads. To make it perfect it will require minor TLC to the bodywork. It cleans up very well and looks smart. There are some Spares including the original steering wheel & Engine parts from the rebuild. I have got around 10 Mustang restoration and literature books that can go with the car for light reading.
No Tyres Kickers. I'm only selling because my Insurance company are trying to shaft me on it [Being young still]It's a great car to drive and really looks great so grab yourself a fast appreciating Muscle Car. I really don't want to get rid of this car and I will regret the decision i'm sure once the prices explode.
