1957 Ford Thunderbird , Hard & Soft Top, Older Restoration

This beautiful 1957 Thunderbird is an older 15 year old restoration of a southern USA imported T-Bird. Perfect For Car Shows and Cruises but not a 100 point show car.

The owner is an elderly gentleman who has enjoyed driving and maintaining this toy for the past 10 years where he has only put on about 2500 miles. in the past 2 years the complete front suspension and rear suspension was rebuilt along with new brakes.

The car was originally painted Colonial White which is evident in the under hood area. it was then painted a brighter white base clear coat. it is not a show paint job and now has minor paint chips however there are NO rust bubbles anywhere on the body.

The undercarriage frame and floor pans are original appear rust free and are heavily undercoated

The exterior chrome trim and bumpers are rechromed originals or N. O. S. replacements.

The interior retains the original seat with older but very nice Red replacement coverings including door panels and dash pad. New correct red high loop pile carpeting. It is also equiped with original gauges and a rebuilt AM FM radio. It has rollup windows and the passenger side window winder is defective.

The white convertible top and clear plastic window are new appearing however there is a small hole on drivers side to rear of the side window. Top braces are original and in good working order.

The original port hole hardtop retains the original white paint with the original perforated white headliner. the top is in excellent condition.

The engine appears to be the original 312 Cu In 4 barrel 270 H. P. it is smooth running with out signs of oil consumption or leakage. The engine paint is showing signs of deterioration. the inner fenders are incorrectly painted flat black also showing paint deterioration. It has power steering and  standard brakes.

The car has the original fender skirts. with 4 original Kelsey-Hayes Chrome Wire Wheels with correct hubcaps. WWW tires.

 Includes Restoration and Dealer books in photo.

Older dual bumper exit exhaust in good working order.

All glass is in very good condition.

The car is an easy import back to the USA. however it must be paid for in full prior to leaving the driveway. I can assist with export and shipping information.

It has been brought to my attention. that the car would have to have dual carbs to be rated at 270 H. P. This car has only one 4 barrel carb so therefore it is rated at 245 H. P.
