1967 Porsche 911 S Vintage Race Car
The 911 started its life in 67 and soon after was being prepared for Trans Am and B Sedan racing. The car was purchased and raced by the famous race car driver Wolfgang Maike from 1975 through 1987. SCCA racing. A real to real film of its first race as well as slides and pictures are included in the purchase. The car wore a few different colors throughout its racing history until today when it was painted dark green. The current colors took shape in 2004 when the car had undergone a complete restoration including engine. transmission and suspension.
The current driveline is a 2. 4 Mechanical Fuel Injected engine. Completely overhauled and dry. Only very few hours on the driveline since the restoration. Driven to car shows and minor road rally's. The 901 transmission shifts nicely and with the competition clutch makes gear shifting smooth and accurate.
The car weight comes in about 1900 lbs. Fiberglass nose and quarter panels makes this a lightweight. The car has been designed like this since the 70's Metal doors and shell keep safety first.
Kirkey seat. belts and all safety equipment. Factory 4 wheel vented disc brakes and HAWK pads.
Bill of sale and log book with all historic documents are included.
