MORGAN4/4 4 seater convertible1599cc1981.
We are a small family business and have been trading locally for the last 47 years. We predominantly sell modern vehicles. however classic and vintage cars are our real passion. and here is such an example.
Here is a great opportunity to own what is becoming an increasingly collectable Morgan 4/4 sports convertible. and what makes it even rarer is the fact it is a full 4 seater. It is finished in the eye catching Royal Ivory bodywork with contrasting full red leather interior. it also benfits from full weather equipment. including a superb hood. full toneau cover. along with a full set of front and rear side screens together with their storage bag for when they are not in use.
A brief description as follows.
The bodywork is in really remarkable condition and looks fantastic in its original Royal Ivory colour. with nothing really to note other than a couple of very minor touch ins on the front and back of the offside bonnet top panel. and a tiny paint fester low down on the nearside door. but you have to look close to see them. I was going to have them addressed but the bodywork is so original looking it seems a shame as they really are only minor touch ins.
Interior again is totally original and in really lovely condition. the red leather really goes well and in my opinion must be one of the best colour combinations. It is also as previously stated complete with full set and in excellent condition weather equipment.
Mechanically it seems to be in great shape. and having only covered 35000m and with the history it has I am not surprised. Having driven it back about 20 miles I can honestly say that it really does drive well. It starts instantly with no nasty noises. doesnt smoke and has good oil pressure. and the temperature is spot on. It is also fitted with an adjustable Kenlowe electric fan. The gearbox. clutch. steering and brakes again are all without fault.  
It has a nice set of period wire wheels fitted all with excellent tyres.
There are 2 sets of keys.
Current mot is May 2017.
Now the really nice bonus with this particular Morgan is the history. It has documented history backing up the low mileage of 35000m going right back to when it was first bought new along with every old mot. Infact there are dozens of invoices in a folder over an inch thick. so much so that I couldnt begin to list everything. Looking at all the old mots it appears to have covered approximately 5000m since 1999.

To sum up what a wonderful chance to own this great iconic British sports car. a Morgan 4/4 4 seater convertible which do not come onto the market that often. It has an extremely low mileage and has an outstanding service history and is in really great shape throughout really needing nothing doing to it. in other words can be enjoyed exactly as it is at the moment. and is guaranteed to put a smile on your face when you are out driving it. I know because it did with me. With interest rates at an all time low what a great investment opportunity.
