Karmann Covertible 1500cc Tax Exempt

Semi Automatic Delux very rare and sort after. /p>

 

 

She was imported from Florida USA in 1991 and is a Left hand drive. /p>

She has been well maintained and cared for in both USA and UK

This is backed up with documentation and service receipts going back to 1968

She drives great. the gearbox is a semi auto like having  manual gears but no clutch an amazing piece of technology. /p>

All adding to the driving experience.

The car itself is in excellent condition and turns heads every time she is out

There are a couple of blemishes ie small dent n/s/r wing and a paint chip on o/s/f wing which I have hidden with a sticker

These are very minor and in my opinion do not take anything away from her overall condition. /p>

The hood is Black waterproof vinyl and believed to be all original.

The interior is black with yellow dash and has the high back American spec seats. /p>

their is 2 small tears on the front passenger seat tho hardly noticeable. /p>

New carpets through out and the original stereo. /p>

The car is 12volt and still runs on the dynamo system

Since I have owned her she has had a new dynamo. recent starter and battery. Carb rebuild with new inline filter. Service etc

I bought her in Brighton and drove her the 200 miles back to Birmingham. which she took in her stride. /p>

I have been using "Lola" in my Chauffeur Business as a wedding/prom car. nd always turns heads.

I will be sad to  see her go and would hope her next owner will look after her the way we all have who have owned her.
