opel manta 1.8s excellent original condition 58,000 miles, dry stored since new

If you are looking for a manta in good condition with no rust then this is the one to buy.         

It was first registered 15/03/83 to a mr Wilkinson of Abotford who sold it on the 14/12/84 to mr Howarth of Wetherby how ran it until 1990. it got parked in his garage and was left there until I bought it two years ago.

since I bought it I have had to do the following jobs to get it back on the road again.

replaced all brake pipes. fuel pipes. over haul brakes. new battery. plugs. points. filters. oil. cam belt changed. back box. radiator.

It has been under sealed which is to preserve it.  not to hide any rust or welding as there is none. it has been kept in garages all its life which is why its in such good condition.

There was however a small amount of surface rust on the wheel arches which has been professionally treated and sprayed. the rust was not deep but had bubbled the paint so it had to be done.

 The tyres are good year grand prix which have been on it since the 80s and past its mot with them  on.

 The wheels are in excellent condition too.  even the spare in the boot.

inside the car the interior has also lasted very well. no marks or rips in the seats. it has the original radio cassette player.

It starts up first time every time and drives very posstively with plenty of power.

It has only done 90 miles since its mot which was the 27th of October last year. which it past with no advisories. it will be sold with 12 months mot as its nearly run out.
