vehicle description

Seven Hills Motorcars is

proud to offer this

numbers matching

1980 Corvette in spectacular condition. This Corvette looks fantastic. runs great. and is an

excellent driver.

The car is totally solid with nice lines and no rust issues.

The Silver Metallic (13) over Red Leather (722) is one of the most

striking and desirable color combinations available and looks great on the car. It is also the correct and original color

scheme as verified by the codes on the trim tag. which is pictured

below. This is an excellent opportunity to own a classic Corvette

that is ready to be used and enjoyed at an unbeatable value. One

could easily buy this car now and sell it for more than the purchase

price in years to come as the market on the 1980 and 1981 Corvettes

is strong right now and on the rise. The low original mileage is

verified not only by the condition of the car. but also the clear

Ohio title. pictured below. showing the mileage as "Actual. " Please peruse all of the

photos. the extensive list of numbers. video. and information below to get a true sense of

how nice and clean this Corvette really is.

We purchased this Corvette in Auburn. Indiana. The car was

so nice and the so was the weather so I personally drove it

all the way back to Cincinnati. The trip was over 200 miles

and took over 4 hours with a mix of country back-roads and

highway driving. The car ran great the entire time. was

completely reliable. and a pleasure to drive.

As a side note. this Corvette is not a dealer auction vehicle.

We hand pick each car after careful inspection.

Our

Corvettes come from owners who expect their car to go to someone

that will give the vehicle the same care and attention as they did.

We invite and encourage you to examine the car in person or have the

car inspected.

Please take the time to scrutinize each

picture.

We photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so

you can feel confident about your purchase.

If you have a

question about the Corvette. just give us a call.

numbers

Please note when checking the numbers that not only do the

correct stampings and casting numbers appear on the parts. but

all of the dates are also chronologically correct. This

means that all of the parts were made and assembled in the

correct order. For example. all of the dates for the

individual engine components and the engine casting date should

obviously precede the assembly date of the engine because the

parts had to be produced before they could be assembled.

Most of the parts I checked follow this rule and are dated

correctly.

condition

Exterior

The Silver

Metallic exterior is in fantastic driver condition. As one can

see in the photos the finish has a terrific gloss. deep shine. and

smooth finish. Both doors open and shut nicely as do the hood and headlights. The N 90 aluminum wheels and center caps are in

beautiful condition with a brilliant finish and no curb

rash. The Goodyear Eagle tires have about 90% tread left and are correctly sized 225/70 R 15.

There are a few tiny blemishes around car

that were too small to show up in pictures. but nothing else that

is really noticeable from about five or ten feet away. As one can see in the many photos of the underside of

the car. this Corvette has no rust issues. The frame is totally

solid with no rust around the "key hole" are in front of the

rear tire and I have seen no evidence of corrosion around the

windshield. which are the two most notorious spots for rust on a

C 3 Corvette.

The car looks just as good in person as it does

in the photos.

Interior

The

Red Leather interior in this Corvette is in excellent

original condition. The seats are in terrific condition

with no rips. split seams. or excessive wear. They are not

worn in the typical area where the driver gets in and out.

Please note that these are the original seats. not

some cheap aftermarket covers or replacements. The carpet is

nice original condition with no major stains or holes. This includes

the rear carpet. which is often neglected. The door panels are in wonderful shape and. unlike many Corvettes of this age. they fit

well and tight to the door. The door pulls are solid and

intact. The dash and console look awesome with no cracks or

sun fading. The radio gets good reception and most

importantly the original dash was not cut or modified for

the installation. The jack and jack handle are still with the car.

stored correctly behind the passenger seat. and pictured

below showing the original decals on the compartment lid.

The original spare is still with the car. This Corvette has

never been smoked in there are no burns marks and no aroma

of cigarettes. Corvette interiors from this era are not

known to wear well.

and the excellent condition of this almost all original

interior is a huge testament to the meticulous care and

attention this car has received throughout its life and

another great verification of the low original mileage.

The interior looks just as good in person as it does in the

photos.

Mechanical

This Corvette seems to be in great mechanical condition. As

stated above I have personally put over 200 miles on this

Corvette. including a four hour road trip. with no issues at

all. The

car starts right away every time and runs well. It

drives great and feels nice on the road and at highway speeds.

In the video below one can observe the car accelerating on the

highway up to about 70 mph. shifting through all the gears.

braking to stoplight. and going through some curves. Please note

that there are no vibrations. the car drives great. and

performs quite well overall. There is no blue smoke when

starting or driving the car. This Corvette has plenty of power

and is quite fast. Also. the engine compartment is beautifully

clean and detailed as one can see in the photos.

The radio works

as do all the exterior lights. horn. wipers. power windows. and

all of the gauges with the obvious exception of the clock. The

blower works on all speeds. The a/c also works

and blows cold. One can observe the a/c compressor engaging

properly in the video. The vacuum system for the

headlights works correctly. Also. the headlights go up properly

with either the headlight switch or vacuum override switch.

There complete operation form both switches can be viewed in the

video below. The engine could be tuned up a bit to smooth out

the idle. Not enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure

it is to drive this car. especially with the T-tops out on a

beautiful day

The car runs and

drives as well as it looks

.

Overall Condition

Overall. this 1980 Corvette is in

magnificent driver condition. Numbers matching is extremely

important in Corvette pricing. and as any buyer can see

this Corvette is extremely correct. The originality. the

beautiful original color combination. the spectacular

paint and overall condition. and the great extent to which the

numbers match make this car especially important and

hard to duplicate. This Corvette always gets a ton of attention

driving down the road. It is apparent that the vehicle

has been well taken care of by its previous owners. The

prices of C 3 Corvettes have increased considerably over

the past several years. They are secure and wise

investments for a collector. One could easily enjoy this

vehicle for several years and sell it for more than the

purchase price with minimal effort.

Thank you for looking and please do not

hesitate to email or call with any questions.
