This is a 1988 Trans-Am GTA. It is indeed a real GTA. as documented by the Y 84 code on the Service Parts Identification label. But this car's performance exceeds what left the factory. The GTA option was introduced on the 1987 Trans-Am and is now one of the most desirable third generation F-bodies. The GTA package included the L 98 5. 7 L engine wearing GM's Tuned Port Injection setup. as was used on the Corvette. Beyond the powertrain. the GTA also meant Pontiac's WS 6 Performance Suspension these cars can really corner! Features include special front and rear stabilizer bars. special shock absorbers and coil springs. four-wheel disc brakes. limited-slip rear axle. and a special steering box. Appearance was also a big part of the GTA package. The 16"x 8" gold. diamond-spoke aluminum wheels were unique to the GTA. along with exterior "GTA" badging.

This trams am is in great condition. The 1988 gta with a 350 engine you could not get factory T tops as a option. It has Low miles 58592 you can see in the photos. Everything is in working order on this car. It has original paint and no rust on it. All the gauges work and it has the digital dash. The airconditoning blows cold air. The radio has been upgraded and also the speakers. The tires are new along with the hood and the trunk lift supports are new. The car has cruise control. power windows. and power locks as well. This is a true gta in great condition get it while you can. This is up for sale locally so auction maybe pulled if it sells. This car is sold as is no warranty.
