Well here goes! here is my 1969 escort mk 1. 12 mth mot /tax exempt (disc runs out 4/2014) .
BODY - restored by ford main dealer bodyshop technician between 2006 - 2009. mexico steel wings. large tunnel fitted. new sills . new rear arches. new stainless 1/4 bumpers + irons . new window rubbers+door seals. ford imperial blue paint. olished rs alloys with new nuts. 85/60/13 tyres. alogen headlamps.
MECH - 2. 0 pinto with fresh gasket set & new cambelt. spd type 9 box with quickshift. new 1 piece prop. rs 3. 54 diff. new tramp bar kit . spax rear shox. rs rear drums. 2. 8 capri front legs with new vented discs+ pads. emote brake servo. . 0 dgas carb. branch manifold + new Ashley exhaust system.
INTERIOR - new black headlining. new carpet set. black vinyl seats. clock dash (130 mph/7000 rpm). ood original hardura boot mat. attery in boot.
All in all a very nice tax exempt 2 door mk 1 ready to go . wouldn't look out of place at a show . ut not concours. may suit cosworth conversion as it already has large tunnel fitted.
