For auction is my 1989 Land Rover 90 V 8 CSW. Genuine factory model finished in Shire blue. Purchased from Nene Overland in 1998 i started to restore it back in 2000 but family/life and now the loss of storage has forced a reluctant sale. Full roll cage built by "Bettaweld" back in the day. Its made to ARC spec having an internal hoop and rear stays as well as the external frame shown in the picture. Chassis has been blasted and repainted and is still in remarkable condition. Other than the roll-cage brackets. there has been no repairs needed. Rear axle is Range Rover with the 90 factory 4 pin diff and Ashcroft uprated half-shafts. Front is standard and untouched. All the panels are very good other than the front and rear doors which will need either replacing or new skins/repairing. Bulkhead has been sandblasted and etch primed. This will need a few simple repairs. It was converted to LPG so there is a hole for the gas filler in the rear tub but it's an easy fix to blank it off. An LPG tank is mounted on a frame/bash plate between the rear chassis rails and a second tank frame (no tank) sits under the left-hand seat box/battery area. The seat box has been partially modified to suit. I have the original interior plus one from another CSW which is included in the sale. The winning bidder will need a large van for the parts ( boxes and boxes of them !) and trailer for the chassis etc plus plenty of straps as nothing is bolted together. just assembled for storage and pictures. The engine. gear and transfer boxes are present and the V 5 is in my name. the 90 is on a SORN.
