We are proud to offer this show ready original M 3 with a unique turbo'd M 42 4 cylinder swap. Not only does this car retain all of its original vin tagged body panels. it is also accompanied by its original matching number s 14 engine and transmission. Engine was pulled out because owner had no intentions in hurting the original motor. 113 k miles on the chassis and 2 k on the entire build.
This car is presented as a fully functional showcar. Its original Zinnoberrot red paint benefits from only one respray due to clear coat peeling. Exterior has remained mostly stock except for the addition of carbon fiber evo lips and the 17" Avant Garde wheels used to fit the 6 piston big brake upgrade. Fully adjustable K Sport coilovers used for its aggressive ride height. Paint shines beautifully through out with no noticeable dings or scratches.
Interior is in amazing condition and shows like the rest of the car. it has been fitted with a pair of leather Recaro SRD's. Everything has been redone in genuine german leather. including the center console wrapped in leather with red stitching to match the red motorsports seatbelts! Fitted with AFR - Oil Temp - Boost psi gauges. bmw motorsports aluminum pedals. 3 spoke steering wheel. and a number of other modest upgrades.
The M 42 is fully built with eagle rods. CP pistons. Completely ARP studded motor. comitec head gasket. custom turbo piping. till waste gate. front mount intercooler. Megasquirt 3 ECU. adjustable manual boost controller etc. Stock motor was pulled because the owner did not want to boost the original motor or tranny. car is available without motor but will not be sold until the car sells with or without it.
