1958 Dodge Custom Royal for sale

Up for auction is my 1958 Dodge Custom Royal. It is a factory Right Hand Drive. It was built at Chrysler in SA where approx 250 of these were imported in kit form which makes these cars very rare. I believe there are approx 5 in the country. however not 100%. It is an unusual build as it has a 1959 Boot lid and rear bar. It was sold by Harden and Johnson in NSW when new and it still has the tag in the engine bay along with other info. I have restored the car but NOT a chassis off build I did it as a driver car not a show car. As you can see in the photos a lot of work has been done. new chrome. nterior. wheels and tyres. windscreen. carpet. and other work to the body and mechanical. The car drives very well and has plenty of torque with the Big Block 413 cu in engine but keep in mind it does NOT drive like a new car. It does NOT have power steering and stops with 4 wheel drum brakes. It is an old car but it is great to drive and where ever I go I get plenty of waves and thumbs up. It does has some issues. the engine has a noise which my mechanic and myself not certain what it is but does not affect performance or oil pressure which runs at 60 psi it gets quieter when it gets worm.

There is an oil leak from the rear engine main seal and a slight leak from the oil pump ( gasket ). Anyway have a look at the photos and decide for your self. The buyer will be responsible for Ebay fees that will be included in the final price. Just to mention I can arrange transport of the car at a reasonable cost even interstate
