Since turning 70. my family has been encouraging me to sell most of my personal cars. so I am motivated by them to sell.

 This is a very inexpensive way to enjoy pre-War events.  

and the car has great potential to move to the next level.

because they don't have all the rear spring assembly hanging out back

1928 Buick Speedster

very similar to the Australian race car. nbsp;in the black and white picture

but it is NOT the same racecar

. starts easily

. runs and drives VERY well.

great fun. and turns heads everywhere .

currently Registered and Insured

Correct 1928 6 cylinder Overhead Valve motor and 3 speed transmission. . original electric start. of course. and has been very reliable.

Buicks have always been very advanced. and it drives like a much later car.

Several years ago. we located this Speedster in California where it had been converted long ago. and had it shipped to Alabama.

It has been a good runner and very reliable. since the day we got it.

About a year ago. I had it underslung and bobtailed. It still is otherwise. as we got it. except I put a new battery in a year or so ago. and replaced the electric fuel pump and filter. and is presentable to drive. or it could be totally restored for Vintage street or racing. Lights are not functional. but could be. I don't drive it at night.

Radiator is original rare honeycomb style

Wheels are solid and in excellent condition

Eligible for pre-war "pre-30" classes and events.

Built in California years ago.

I had it underslung (lowered) and bob tailed

It is currently Alabama Vintage registered and insured. making Export or registering in other States easy.

When delivered. I believe you will find this to be better than expected

please notice the pale yellow paint on the firewall and storage trunk. It is not as old as the brighter yellow enamel used long ago on most of the car. . and represents some newer work done in California 10-15 years ago. or so.
