Current customer rating:
1977 MG MIDGET 1500. DE-BUMPERED AND AGE RELATED PLATE. GREAT LOOKING CAR.
EFX 304 C was first registered 10/02/1977. To give it that more period look the rubber bumpers have been removed and a 1965 registration number added. The de-bumpering and associated work was all done professionally at a cost of over £1200. A very nice stainless steel grill has been added and along with the chrome mirrors. padded roll bar and 13 inch Minator (Minilite style) wheels with good 175/70/13 tyres the car now looks very sporty and ready to enjoy. The Teal Blue paintwork is excellent and the soft top hood is in great condition and comes with a hood tonneau. Clean and tidy engine bay and boot areas. The interior is very 70's in brown and in great shape. There are speakers fitted to the rear but no radio although the aerial wire is in place for easy fitting. It also has a Moto Lita steering wheel fitted and static seat belts. Mechanically the 1500 engine is in fine form. has lots of oil pressure at about 80 lb and the 4 speed gearbox is smooth. Combined they get the car down the road a good pace and the car can be driven sedately or with some spirit. The mileage is reading 32. 00 but cannot be warranted. Old MOT's show the car has done only 2. 00 miles in the last ten years. Serviced just 500 miles ago and a new MOT will be put on the car for the new owner.
