1987 Modded Classic Mini - Fully Restored - 1380cc - Stunning Car

This is my 1987 Austin Mini City E. The car has been restored. upgraded and modified over the last 12 years by the previous owner. at the expense of over £13. 00! I have loads and loads of pictures and receipts of the full restoration from original rust bucket to the completed car you see in the pictures. The car has a legitimate 68. 00 miles on the clock. runs perfectly. looks beautiful. sounds well and has a full MOT until March 2017.

As well as all of the rust replaced with brand new panels. all of the underside was painted & under sealed. The car has the zeemax body kit fitted. which features the wider sport arches. front and rear bumpers and skirts all seamlessly blended into the car and painted over in a black rainbow flake paint job which needs to be seen to be fully appreciated. it is beautiful - flat black in the shade and shimmers under sunlight or in the dark under street lights. The looks are also improved upon with a centre exhaust. clear back lights. superlite 13" alloys and chromed mirrors. grill. boot handle. etc

The huge list of new parts includes. among others. a new rear sub-frame. refurbished arms with adjustable camber. HI LOWS. aluminum drum brakes. copper brake pipes with steel braided hoses. Fully refurbished front sub-frame with all new wheel bearings. ball joints. adjustable tie bars HI LOWS & steel mounts.

Under the hood the car has a former 1275 cc A series engine reconditioned and uprated by the great Rod & Colin at the Southham Mini Metro Centre. I have lots of invoices from them & Min-its including crank & fly wheel balancing. machined piston crowns. roller rockers. 276 cam. high pressure oil pump. electronic ignition distributor. twin 1. 1/4 SU carbs with K&N filters and electric fuel pump. It is now 1380 cc. as reflected on the V 5. and the car goes very well. I have dyno readouts of over 100 bhp. The car also has a newly refurbished gearbox with cross pin diff and centre oil pickup pipe.

The interior features full black carpets. the rear seat has been replaced with a 9 speaker sound system including JBL speakers and a 1200 JBL subwoofer powered by an Infinity amp and JVC head unit w/ CD player and i Pod input. The front seats have been replaced with bucket seats and 3 point harnesses. There is a half roll cage in the car. I don't have the front half as it was left behind when I collected the car because it just made getting in and out the car difficult and wouldn't fit in the boot - it's a mini! The manual sunroof has been replaced with an all electric sunroof and new roof lining too. The car also features a rev counter on the dash and an extra 3 dials in the centre for voltage. oil pressure and oil temp. There are red neon lights in the foot wells & on either side of the amp. with colour changing LED lights on the roll cage to light up the rear. can all be turned on and off with the flick of a few buttons in the centre console.

To finish it off and keep it out of strangers hands. it is fitted with a SPAL alarm with contacts on the doors. boot & bonnet. This is connected to a SPAL tracker which will text & call your phone when the alarm is triggered. This will tell you the cars speed and GPS position (if moving) as well as enable you to kill the fuel pump. flash the indicators. sound the horn remotely. etc.

As you can see the list of work done on the car is huge and has had an enormous amount of work and money spent on it. I currently have 3 cars and the time has come to get rid of some so sadly the mini has to go!
