1955 Replica/Kit Makes Speedster

The difference between a home-built Speedster and a professionally built one can be thousands of dollars in repairs & upgrades to make it safe and reliable.

Most replica Speedsters do look similar in photos. but upon close inspection. the real difference can be amazing. Don't let your speedster purchase turn into a disappointment that could ruin your dream.

I've been building and restoring replica Speedsters and 550 Spyders for nearly 18 years.

This S peedster replica has been built as a one of one.

It has a tube chassis grafted to a VW Type 1 rear torsion assembly and forward axle beam. You will not find a duplicate Speedster anywhere. This is one of those cars that is amazing to own and exilerating to drive. I am the original builder. I have assembled and gone through this car making everything as perfect as possible with safety first. You won't find anything wrong. nor does this car need anything worked on.

Again. it's a pleasure to drive and will bring you many miles of driving pleasure.

1957 Porsche Speedster Custom Replica

Newly assembled with just a few test drive miles .

All the gaps are correct. Custom air intake grill w/ Speedster script. Inside the door jams. under the hood and the electric actuator deck lid.

Dual Sport painted to match rear view mirrors Porsche cream paint (Code 59) is perfect !

Contrasting light brown interior. Tan convertible top with matching quarter top boot and side curtains. Matching brown & chrome modern Banjo steering wheel and complimenting interior door handles. White faced gauge set. "Vintage Speed" shifter.

Rebuilt 1776 Type I motor and rebuilt transmission by Bug Stuff. West Brownsville Pa.

Dual carbs. counter balanced crankshaft. Engel 110 camshaft. fuel pressure regulator and electronic ignition. Hideaway header - exhaust system.

Rebuilt IRS 4 speed IRS manual transmission. new clutch set & new axles. Front and Rear Disc Brakes with GM bolt pattern & Ridler polished aluminum wheels. Dual Disc Brake master cylinder w/ 2 lb. rear residual valve and Line Loc.
