This 1983 De Lorean DMC-12 is a five-speed manual with extensive mechanical restoration and updates. A Stage II engine was installed by DMC Florida in June 2008. and increases power from the factory 130 hp to around 197 hp. In 2008 at approximately 50 k miles. DMC Florida replaced the original 85 mph speedometer with a 140 mph unit. The seller has driven it around 25 k miles and the odometer now shows 26. 81 miles – the car has approximately 77 k total chassis miles. Documentation dates back to 2001 and work performed since then is said to add up to approximately $51 k. This is a driver with some cosmetic flaws here and there that is sold with a clean Carfax and clean California title.
