This Delorean has been featured on Hardcore Pawn. The smell is common and not that big of a deal if you are a Delorean fan. There is a lock box behind the driver seat that has sound proofing material that acts like a sponge. With a car that sits for a while (it only has 18 k on it) this collects moisture and can smell.
After the show this has been fixed and removed and smells fine now.
