1986 MG Maestro 2. 0 - 41. 00 miles - 12 months mot
A very reluctant sale. I have owned this lovely car for two and a half years. My collection has outgrown my storage so I have to sell some of my cars. The car has covered less than 42. 00 miles by it's 3 previous owners. I was told the first two were friends and the latter a relative.
This is a really nice car as it is totally original condition except for the rear bumper which was cracked and replaced. Nothing has been messed with. I have driven it to a couple of shows in my ownership and it has not missed a beat. The engine starts first time and sounds great.
It easily keeps pace with modern traffic and has a good turn of pace when required.
The paintwork is original but needing attention in several places which I have tried to show in the pictures. The worst part is the lower rear arch which I covered in gaffer tape in order to pass the MOT. The tailgate has some corrosion but I have a good spare which I will include. One of the doors had a small blister at the bottom. The rest of the car is excellent with the original sills and wings in good order. It is surprisingly good for a Maestro of this age.
The interior is excellent showing very little wear as can be seen in the photographs.
Very little work is needed to make this a VERY nice car
