For sale is this MK 2 Fiesta.

Not any ordinary Fiesta. it has been converted to rear wheel drive.
We have done literally nothing with this car. it has been laid up under a cover for some time and it is time for it to go to a new home where it will be used.

The bodyshell consists of a comprehensive roll cage into a lovely shell which has no real rust or corrosion issues to speak of.
There is a dink on the drivers side rear quarter panel where something has hit/fallen onto the car whilst its been laid up (see photos). Otherwise the car is in really nice condition. arches are good. sills are good etc.

Fitted with 2. 0 ltr Pinto engine (202 block)
32/36 DGAV Carburettor
Electronic ignition
5 speed Ford Type 9 gearbox
MK 2 Escort Mcphereson struts converted to 2. 25" coilovers and has compression struts fitted.
M 16 Escort brake calipers
5 linked rear end using a panhard rod and MK 2 Escort 1600 sport axle.
7 x 13" superlite wheels with BRAND new Yokohama 175/50 13 tyres
Motordrive bucket seats (seen better days but are totally useable)
Many other aftermarket components fitted. just see the photos.

The car has literally driven round the block since we have had it and the engine is good. it revs up real quick and sounds great.

Needng only a handbrake for the MOT (although it has had an MOT in the past??) this will make a great track car or fast Ford for the road.
