Welcome to the sale of our 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback Restomod If your looking for something you can jump straight in, enjoy and looks great without the big restored price tag this is your car! The previous owner has spent a small fortune upgrading and improving her to drive like a modern car.Summary of our '68 Fastback:Her 289 V 8 was rebuilt in the early 2000's, bored '30 over, upgraded Summit racing camshaft,Comp cam roller rockers, heads were fully ported, upgraded springs and ported to match intake manifold.Cloys dual roller timing set MSD 6 A ignition,Stealth intake manifold,Hedman headers. Alot of money was spent rebuilding and increasing the power resulting in a very strong 289 V 8. Her transmission has been upgraded to a ‘AOD' 4 speed automatic overdrive transmission along with a aluminium driveshaft. The rear axle has upgraded gears fitted to improve acceleration and take advantage of the overdrive transmission. The suspension has had overhaul with Eibach lowering springs, Koni shocks,heavy duty sway bar along with 4 piston brakes and factory power steering system. Interior is a really nice place to be. Two tone blue. Fold down rear seat. '65 Shelby style aftermarket gauges.All glass is present and in good condition.Wheels are 15 inch Torque thrust wheels with BFG tyres.Vin stamped on drivers side apron, door tag and dash plate are all present and matching. There is no rust on the car. There is a repair needed on the driver side rocker panel which we will repair before heading to the new owner. Older paint job, starting to show some age with chips but still very presentable for a cruiser. There is a patch need on the drivers side rocker panel which we will address before selling.The original built in Metuchen NJ and shipped to Boston,MA.Her original colour was Brittany Blue.She is sold with a clean title.Apron,dash plate and door plate are all present and matching.We are Located in Aragon.
