This 1955 Ford Fairlane Roadster is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. If you are looking for a one of a kind vehicle that is sure to get everyone's attention but not break the bank while doing it look no further. This custom built 55 Fairlane is one of the neatest vehicles to come through our showroom. First the body was taken off and set aside so the frame could be reinforced. The body then underwent its transformation with the top being completely removed including the pillars for the windshield. All the holes were filled and the body was completely smoothed with a much rounder windshield being added as well. With the body now ready for paint the decision was made to use a full gloss white on top with the traditional 55 "Fairlane Stripe" being used to separate the bottom which was coated with a matte black to give it a total custom look. The interior was next with the highly durable vinyl loop carpeting being laid down first. A set of late model fully operation power leather buckets were installed upfront while a split 60/40 bench was used in the back. This gives you the ability to flip the seats forward to gain access to the storage area that is underneath the vinyl covering. With all the main gauges housed underneath the custom CD player the dash was left all original giving the interior a great mix of the old and new. Powering this roadster is the original 272 which even has the fully functioning pull choke on the dash. Put the 3 speed automatic transmission in drive and nothing but great times ahead.
