Current customer rating:
1973 Stroppe Bronco
VIN:U 15 GLR 80676
The car is listed in the Stroppe Bronco registry at

I bought this in 2003. It's an original Stroppe chassis. with many original Stroppe parts.
The true mileage is unknown.
-C-4 Automatic
-Dana 20 transfer case-Factory power steering
Before I got it. the following was done:
-replaced floor pans
-replaced fenders and grill
-fiberglass hood -B&M floor shifter
-twin stick transfer case
-Wheels 15 x 8 American Racing Outlaw 1
-The truck does not have a hard top. It does have an excellent and perfectly working STC Fasttrack softop. These are rare.
In 2004. I had a bunch of work done:
the truck was painted. removed all dents. fixed all body holes. sprayed-in sound deadener. new exhaust (Flowmaster) installed. new fuel lines. powder coated roll bar and padded/taped
-New tires
-disc brake conversion
-new Master Craft seats (showing some wear now)-Rancho 9000 shocks all around (total 8 two on each wheel)
-new mirrors. interior door panels
-custom Baja Bronco brushbar front and fog lights
-new bumpers. scripts. armrests
also. new sony radio/cd w amp. speakers and detachable faceplate
I also sourced a rubberized proper Stroppe mfgd steering wheel
Then in 2013 the motor was replaced due to a bent rod (condensation in the pistons from sitting too long?) and all of the follow on problems from that. (The motor was a 329 Mustang swap when I got the truck originally)
The new motor is a 347 Stroker Motor from Blueprint Engines (about $4000)330 HP and 380 FT LBS

The motor has less than break-in mileage on it now. but it sounds GREAT. pulls stongly through the gears. brakes are OK. radio works. lights work. blinkers rarely work. fan works. wiper motor works.
In 2015. the truck was freshened up for the spring summer. maybe put 150 miles on it and now unfortunately mostly sits in the garage.
It's barely been broken-in.
This is a very fast. nimble truck. It's powerful. It needs some additional break in and some love and attention and miles. There are some random fluid leaks here and there from sitting.
It's a great ride. attention getting. thumbs up all the time. Paint is still looking NEW.
